As our fabulous Metropolitan Opera stage personality and expert byVINNIK collector extraordinaire Briana Hunter, declared: “The coat is the outfit!”
We took that quite literally in this new version of the Earhart Scarf Coat, now with EVEN MORE drama and real-world practicality. After our original design debuted, Briana discovered her mom’s vintage leather coat with epaulettes that held a scarf in place on windy days. I knew instantly this design needed that glow up. So we added epaulettes that let the scarf slip through and stay put, while still allowing you to tie it into a gigantic oversized bow if you are feeling extra.
We swapped buttons for invisible snaps for a clean, timeless finish that will stand the test of time! We kept our side vents but added snaps so you can reach your pant pockets when wearing jeans, and lined the entire swing coat in contrasting satin charmeuse for a hidden moment of ART.
This print pays homage to Denyce Graves’ legendary Carmen, this print is a tribute to the moment I heard her sing in rehearsal at the Castleton Festival and felt the air change. This is not a quiet print. It enters the room first.
